Katie Stinchon, Executive Director

Massachusetts Brewers Guild

“I can’t praise Waleska highly enough. She is passionate about her work, clear in her beliefs, and skilled in her approach. But perhaps the quality I admire the most in her is her humility. She sees all of us as partners, moving—as best we can—in the direction of racial healing and equity. Waleska’s humanity is always front and center in her work. Her openness allows people to engage in conversations that might otherwise be difficult to begin."

Eileen McCaffery, Executive Director

Community Music School of Springfield, MA

The Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts has benefited from a long and strong relationship with Waleska. She has advised and supported us around our grantmaking, community advocacy, and most recently, internal work around diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). She is a tremendous resource with the knowledge, skill and insight to build understanding and communication within and among communities, workplaces and other institutions"

JRI is a large, programmatically diverse agency with about 3000 employees. We serve kids and families in community based and residential settings, adults with developmental disabilities, and have services focused on prevention and harm reduction in high risk communities.

Waleska is the kind of consultant we needed—it is not a cookie-cutter approach, rather she listens, learns and then advises. Waleska has helped us to integrate what we have learned into sustainable systems.  Specifically, her work with us include: Racial Equity, Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging Strategic Planning, racial inequality film discussions, digital learning labs, racial healing conversations post national traumatic incidents, creation of JRI Racial Justice & Healing Planning Team, collaborative crafting of JRI Elevating Racial Justice & Healing Training Work Plan.

Andy Pond, President & CEO

Justice Resource Institute, Needham, MA

Waleska is a true visionary who can visualize success and create the metrics to support her ideas. She has been able to manage C-Suite initiatives involving diversity, education, and busines in addition to handling the financial responsibilities of such initiatives to the bottom line. At the same time, her leadership skills and dynamic presence are more than excellent because she is able to build collaborative an inclusive work environments with a passion and productivity. I highly recommend Waleska because she brings the energetic insights and planning framework that helps organizations find success”
